Rickey Nielsen

Membership Specialist/Webmaster

Rickey Nielsen started in 2012 as an Intern for Provo City Emergency Management and has been with the Orem/Provo CERT Program ever since that time.

​

Rickey currently works as a FT Advanced EMT for Gold Cross Ambulance, as well as a Volunteer FF/AEMT for the City of Wendover.  He also works PT for Mountainland Technical College as a CPR, First Aid and CNA Instructor.

​

Rickey has 10+ years of EMS and Emergency Response experience, as well as a cadre of experience in other various career fields.

​

Rickey has graduated from both the Hazmat Operations and Incident Command courses taught in Anniston, Alabama at the Center for Domestic Preparedness.

Chelsea Castaldo

Social Media Specialist/Event Photographer

Chelsea Castaldo has been with CERT since 2014. She helps keep the social media accounts up and running. She also photographs our drills and classes. 

 

Chelsea is a mother of one, an avid genealogist, and loves helping others in Emergency Preparedness.

Noji Ratzlaff

Emergency Communications Trainer

 Noji Ratzlaff, an avid ham radio operator, builder, examiner, and now instructor.

 

Noji has been teaching courses at Orem City for over five years, and has taught amateur radio courses at BYU, UofU, UVU, the MTC, and numerous stakes in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.

 

Noji has also introduced amateur radio to many people in presentations made at Utah Valley Hospital, Provo City CERT, Orem City CERT, Eagle Mountain CERT, Cedar Hills Emergency Management, Lehi Emergency Management, other emergency management agencies, and several LDS wards and stakes.
